Ozone Hole Shrinking (and happy Friday)!
Henry Fountain, this morning, published a piece in the New York Times regarding a measured shrinking of the ozone hole that was first discovered in 1984.
After many of the world's nations vowed to ban chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) from refrigerants and aerosols, we've seen a shrinking of the ozone layer that protects us from harmful UV rays (and thus our ice caps form melting).
